of Multiple Personality Disorder
Multiple Personality Disorder MPD a
mental health condition, people with dissociative identity disorder (DID) have
two or more separate personalities. These identities control a person's
behavior at different times. MPD can cause gaps in memory and other problems. Multiple personality disorder is a mental disorder
characterized by the maintenance of at least two distinct and relatively
enduring personality states. Multiple personality disorder is lack of
connection in a person thoughts, memories and sense of identity. Secondly,
multiple personality disorder has a lot of negative effects to people thoughts
and way of thinking. MPD also happens when there is emotional abuse even though
there has never been physical abuse. The person with MPD will have trouble
recalling his or her personal information. People with MPD would always have
hard time remembering their personal life and the activities that they are
doing. MPD can be caused by other external factors such as trauma, emotional
abuse and physical disturbance. The multiple personality disorder can be
characterized by the fragmentation or splintering of an identity rather by the
proliferation or the growth of the person character. MPD is a complex
psychological condition that is likely caused by many factors, including severe
trauma during early childhood (usually extreme, repetitive physical, sexual, or
emotional abuse).There is several symptoms we are observed in this type of
disorder or in complex psychological condition like. Delusions ,Depression
,Disorientation headaches, conversion symptoms, changes in voice, seizure-like
activity, unexplained pain or insensitivity to pain, alterations in handedness
or handwriting style, palpitations, alterations in respiration,
gastrointestinal disturbances including bulimia and anorexia, menstrual
irregularities, sexual dysfunction, and dermatological conditions including
unusual allergic responses and differential responses to medication.
